Why? on every suggestion
Why? used to appear on obligation suggestion cards alone. It’s on every surface a suggestion appears on now: create cards, update popovers, and hover previews. It opens the same explanation each time, read top to bottom. It shows the document and page Aevy read, the conclusion it drew, and the confidence it reports on each field. A Grounding score then measures whether the text it cited supports that conclusion.
Grounding doesn’t check that the source itself is right, or that the conclusion is complete. It’s also early work, and Aevy is still improving how it scores. Treat a low one as a reason to open the source and read the line yourself. Aevy writes nothing until you accept, and lineage shows where a fact came from in full.
