Smaller improvements, late July
Smaller changes
- Citations in the document viewer point to the same passage the highlight does, so following a fact to its source no longer drifts a paragraph.
- Filter options now sort alphabetically.
- Drawers close when you click outside them.
- Pinned documents no longer leave a gap under the sticky header.
- A format Aevy doesn’t read shows plainly rather than as an error.
- A failed text-recognition provider shows on the document instead of stalling silently.
- Findings match by identifier. Aevy matches a suggestion that updates a defect to it by identifier, instead of by overlapping references. Unrelated findings no longer receive each other’s proposals, and a retried batch leaves no duplicate behind.
- Notification emails come from Aevy rather than a person’s name.
- Aevy fixes a sign-in loop that could bounce you between the login page and the app.
